Racers began the game quickly wlth D Reilly openlng theIr accoun just after the five minute mark. Waugh scored the second mInutes
later and one minute after that the whole stadIum rose to applaud Willie Kerr's 100th goal in Northern League Ice Hockey,
Racers' third tally of the night. Baird had made it 4-0 before the end of the first perIod.
In the second slot Racers really
took command of the match, scoring another glut of goals. The marksman were Reilly (3), Wood, Waugh, ArchIbald and Baird.
In the final frame Wood made it 9-0 but seconds later D.'Lavety opened theDynamos account with a shot from the poInt.
Stevenson shot Dynamos second before D.Reilly and Baird
countered for the Racers. Barratt grabbed Dynamos' final goal,
but Racers' Inglis and Grieve took the score to 11-3 by the fInal whIstle.
