In front of the Mayor and other civic dignitaries, Buffaloesproduced their best hockey of the season in the 2nd period
to reduce the arrears to 6-8 by the 39th minute but Kirk replied with four goals to end the Buffaloes charge. Kirk's first
four goals had sparked Dynamos to a 5-0 lead by the 13th minute.
